In addition to everyday diseases, Rachel also treated many cancer patients. She used palliative and complementary treatment of side effects and worked in the field of long-term damage prevention. The work inspired her so much that I delved into the field of acupuncture for cancer patients. On this topic, Rachel wrote an article entitled Acupuncture for complementary treatment and prevention of cancer for the purposes of her master's degree in Chinese medicine. Hoping to work in the research field, Rachel took a job as a research associate at the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Hong Kong. She participated in a controlled trial of acupuncture treatment of insomnia in patients with depression. After some period of research work, Rachel found herself more interested in practical work therefore from the year 2012, she started an internship with a local doctor, a specialist in Yijing/I Ching medicine for more than 3 years.
